I started this as a sports blog 10 years ago to try and share some humor in life and in sports. I think I accomplished that. Then, on September 9, 2013 at 10:22 PM, the world changed forever. It could have been a lot worse, but it took a lot of praying, fighting, courage, pain and a miracle to make it through. This blog/ website became the forum of a great story and I published some of the posts in The Never Say Never Kid.
A lot of things have changed in the past decade. I am brushing this blog off and going to start a new conversation about my health issues in hopes that there are others out there suffering similar issues, and there is power in numbers..
Warning! This site is NOT for political issues. There may be some discussion about the effects of the vaccine, but only from a medical and personal side. THIS IS NOT AN ANTI-VAX SITE! I like your piece (no punn intended) on gun control. I was in DC the first week of January and those fools think that banning high capacity magazines is gonna make a difference. I was quick to point out to several Congressmen the battle of Athens (Tennessee) in 1946. We have a right to bear arms and sometimes we have the need to bear arms.

I think being a parent is so much fun! I am such a kid that they give me the opportunity to be a kid again. I’ll be glad when my grandkid is old enough to ransack Toys R Us with me! I miss that since my kids are too old these days. That’s good living there!
